Machine size in amphibious work is usually decided by site access and water depth rather than by production requirements.
How to read these classes
Smaller classes transport in one piece and reach confined sites, but lose stability in deeper water and at reach. Larger classes are stable and productive but travel dismantled and need crane access at both ends. The right class is usually the smallest one that remains stable in your worst-case water depth with the attachment you intend to use.
