Couplers change the numbers
A quick coupler adds weight and, more importantly, moves the attachment further from the pivot. Both reduce lifting capacity at radius, and both matter more on a floating machine than on a tracked one. When a coupler is fitted, capacity figures quoted for direct pin-on mounting no longer apply.
