Three things need confirming: the carrier weight class the attachment is rated for, the coupler or pin interface dimensions, and — for hydraulic tools — the flow and pressure your auxiliary circuit actually delivers at the coupler, which is not the same as the machine's peak pump output. Send the machine model and coupler type with your enquiry and we will confirm compatibility before quoting.

Neither is a good idea. An attachment rated for a heavier class overloads your arm, pivot pins and bushes, and the damage shows up as wear rather than as an obvious failure. One rated lighter wastes the machine's capability and wears out early. Match the rating to the carrier.

It depends overwhelmingly on the material rather than on the attachment. Abrasive, wet and mixed material shortens life substantially, and no specification change alters that. Teeth, edges, tines and bushes are consumables and should be budgeted as a running cost. We can quote wear parts alongside the attachment so you are not sourcing them under time pressure later.

Often, but weight at full reach has to be checked rather than assumed. Both floating machines and extended fronts have substantially lower capacity at radius than a standard tracked machine, and fitting a standard attachment to either is a common and genuinely dangerous mistake. Ask before fitting.
